We offer a range of medical and surgical services which can be accessed only via referral to a private specialist. These services include: General Medicine; Medical Oncology; Dermatology; Radiation Oncology; Haematology Services; Rehabilitation; Respiratory; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; General Surgery; Gynaecology; Ophthalmology; Oral and Maxillofacial; Orthopaedics; Plastics and Urology.

Mater Private Hospital Springfield provides a comprehensive and compassionate service that is individually personalised to meet patient’s specific needs.

Mater Cancer Care Centre

The state-of-the-art cancer care centre, partially funded by $21.4 million from the Australian Government, includes a linear accelerator and 15 medical oncology treatment bays. The area has been designed with the patient in mind and efforts have been made to ensure the area is as peaceful and welcoming as possible. Each chair is in its own individual pod which has Wi-Fi capability and a flat screen television. Room service is also available.

Radiation Oncology Queensland

Mater will work with Radiation Oncology Queensland to deliver radiation oncology services within the cancer care centre.

Queensland X-Ray

Queensland X-Ray will support inpatients within Mater as well as providing a service for the general public.

Mater Pathology

This onsite service allows a fast turn around to assist medical staff attending to inpatients. It is not available for general public access at this time.

Mater Pharmacy

There is a Mater Pharmacy at the hospital, and it stocks some special items and retail products suited for your care. The pharmacy has an electronic ordering system so that your medicines are dispensed by the onsite Mater Pharmacist to avoid any delays.

It is important that you bring all your current medications in their original packaging and any current prescriptions. If you take regular medications, please request a medication list from your pharmacy and bring this too.

Public access to the pharmacy is not available at this time.
