Annual Review 2008
Wednesday, 8 April 2009
Though it all seems a bit of blur now, last year was an enormous year for Mater Health Services. The transfer of services in readiness for the Queensland Children’s Hospital, the purchase of new equipment and the opening of new facilities all contributed to outstanding outcomes.
Now, with a summary publication and comprehensive website, we can reflect on the 366 day journey that was 2008.
The key theme of the annual review is about improvement and this was evidenced in 2008 through our commitment to improved services, enhancement of our facilities and delivery of our Mission. All of which has helped to make the Mater of 2009 a stronger organisation which gets better every day.
The publication has been printed with a low print run using environmentally responsible dyes, paper and printing processes to ensure that it has limited impact on our planet … whilst maintaining a maximum impact for our audience.
As was the case with the 2007 Annual Review our 2008 publication is complemented by an interactive website. The website allows users to read additional stories, view extra images and videos as well as leave comments or their own version of events for the year.
Visit the website at 2008.mater.org.au—we hope that you enjoy reading it.
