Mater Marketing wins two Awards for Marketing Excellence

Mater Health Services Marketing Department has won two national awards at the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) Awards for Marketing Excellence, held in Sydney on 19 October 2011.
Mater was a finalist in four national award categories and won awards in the categories of Brand Extension and Relationship Marketing.
Under the Brand Extension category Mater won the national award for its submission on Mater Mothers’ Private Redland, and its work on extending the Mater Mothers’ brand.
Commenting on the entry, the judges stated:
“The lynchpin to this plan was aligning existing services as an extension of the quality, care and trust that had been developed through the past 60 years. This extension was officially launched in March 2010.”
Mater’s Chief Marketing Officer Ieuan Hyde said the wins were an awesome achievement.
“I am thrilled that Mater’s Marketing team has won these awards which recognise the exceptional work we do and provide confirmation that our work can compete with the best in Australia.”
The Awards for Marketing Excellence are presented to organisations and marketers who have achieved extraordinary success from innovative and effective marketing practices. The aim of the Australian Marketing Institute is to acknowledge exceptional marketing practice and to raise the standards of marketing professionalism.
In September Mater Marketing won four Queensland state awards for Marketing Excellence hosted by the Australian Marketing Institute.
