Women in Brisbane’s Bayside suburbs have access to an unparalleled level of maternity care following the launch of several significant enhancements in March.
Existing maternity services at Mater Private Hospital Redland underwent unique improvements to ensure women in the Bayside community can continue to access truly exceptional birthing experiences.
The maternity enhancements include first class refurbishments of the physical surrounds, a new and improved service offering with integrated specialist and midwifery care, and a change of name to Mater Mothers’ Private Redland.
Mater Private Hospital Redland Director of Clinical Services Cheryl Clayton explained that Mater Mothers’ Hospitals are the premier maternity facilities in the southern hemisphere.

Dr Michael Mastry and Dr Matt Macbeth from Moreton Bay Obstetrics & Gynaecology are both based at the Mater Medical Centre within Mater Private Hospital Redland. The group practice provides comprehensive obstetric and gynaecology services to the Bayside community.
With a new female obstetrician about to join their team, women’s health services will continue to grow in the Bayside area.
The refurbishments are expected to be complete in late February and have been designed to create a very warm and welcoming feel, with a stylish modern look, among first class clinical facilities.
