New Private Rehabilitation Service opens at Mater

Tuesday 11 July 2006, Her Excellency, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, Governor of Queensland will officially open Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus, an extension to the health care services provided by Mater Private Hospital.
Located on the South Brisbane Campus, Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus is a 48 bed facility providing specialised rehabilitation and acute care services.
According to Mr Don Murray, Executive Director of Mater Private Hospital, the opening of Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus is an exciting time for the hospital.
“Mater is commemorating its 100th birthday this year and as we celebrate this milestone, it is important that we continue to look to the future.
“Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus is an important advancement in our delivery of health care and will help us meet the growing needs of the Brisbane community,” Mr Don Murray said.
Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus has a number of dedicated nursing staff, doctors, physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists working together to provide a multidisciplinary approach to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient.
Patients have access to a range of health care professionals, fully equipped medical facilities and personal amenities to ensure that during their stay they receive exceptional care.
“We are looking forward to opening Mater Private Hospital Annerley Road Campus and continuing our journey in the footsteps of the Sisters of Mercy as we grow and provide an innovative health care service to those who need it,” Mr Murray said.
