Mater Health Services is a not-for-profit provider of health services which operates seven hospitals, a medical research institute, pathology and pharmacy businesses in south east Queensland. Through collocation of private and public facilities for insured and non-insured patients, Mater is able to provide comprehensive care to meet the needs of the community.
Mater employs more than 7500 staff and volunteers who touch the lives of more than half a million people each year throughout Queensland and beyond. It is through these people that Mater’s 2011 Annual Review is told.
