Mater Pathology continues to provide its fully bulk-billed home collection service for all southside patients.

Utilising a team of fully qualified Certificate Three collectors—specialising in the collection of specimens for general adult, maternity, paediatric and neonatal tests—the home service allows southside residents to access Mater Pathology’s expertise from the comfort of their own homes.

Unlike other pathology home collection services we visit, and bulk-bill, all southside patients regardless of health status. Customised to patient needs and lifestyle, the service is particularly suited to elderly or disabled patients and mothers with young children.

Operating from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday we will visit patients at a time that is convenient for them – this is agreed with our call centre when the home collection is booked.
