Mater Health Services has, at the core of its Mission, a commitment to help meet unmet need. We do this through a number of programs and services which are designed to take our special brand of exceptional care to the community. Whether it be our commitment to refugee health, supporting the homeless or providing maternity and other services for marginalised and at-risk groups, Mater has a proud tradition of going beyond the limits of hospital-based care. To provide these services, Mater relies on the support of our volunteers, our partners in the community and the kind financial support of our donors.

Mater Volunteers

Mater volunteers work across the Mater complex, providing services to Mater Mothers' hospitals, Mater Children's hospitals, Mater Adult Hospital and Mater Private Hospitals, Brisbane and Redland.

Mater Foundation

The Mater Foundation is the philanthropic and community arm of Mater Health Services and the Mater Medical Research Institute. Donations to the Foundation help purchase life-saving medical equipment, improve patient care and ensure our world-renowned research team continues to find better ways to diagnose, treat and ultimately cure life-threatening diseases.
