The Queensland Sleep Disorders Unit provides a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment service for all sleep and respiratory failure disorders including consultations with accredited sleep physicians. Services provided include:

• clinical assessment and management advice
• referrals to affiliated specialities ie ENT and psychiatry
• vigilance testing for workplace and driver competency
• overnight polysomnographic (sleep study) evaluation and reporting
• continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment studies
• CPAP education, ongoing assistance and evaluation of treatment by qualified scientific staff
• 1300 free call helpline for doctors and patients
• home and hospital based ventilatory support for patients with respiratory failure.
