As Chief Executive Officer of Mater Foundation, Nigel is committed to linking community and philanthropic support to Mater’s health, education and research services.
Before joining Mater Foundation in 1996, Nigel held senior roles with non-profit organisations in Queensland and South Australia. He has worked in the non-profit sector for more than 30 years, specialising in fundraising management. He has an MBA with a fundraising major, as well as public relations and marketing qualifications and is also a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
Nigel is a Fellow and current Chairman of Fundraising Institute Australia, a member of the Advisory Board of the Centre of Sustainable Philanthropy at the University of Plymouth (UK), and a former Board member of the USA based fundraising credentialing body CFRE International.
