Daniele is a senior health executive with greater than twenty-seven years’ experience in the health care industry in Chief Executive Officer (CEO) appointments and senior leadership positions. Over this time she has held positons that have been accountable for successful strategic, operational and transformational leadership in private for-profit, not-for-profit and public health. Daniele’s extensive roles in health has been advantageous in her executive appointments in understanding core hospital operations from both a clinical and fiscal lens whilst balancing the ethos of catholic ministry and compassionate care. Her leadership career demonstrates a proven record of accomplishment of transformational leadership to execute responsive change necessary for the sustainability and success of the hospitals she has led throughout her career.
As part of her commitment as a CEO working in Catholic Ministry, she is committed to inclusive health programs for First Nation people and has been actively involved in an international Health Ministry in Haflong India owned and operated by the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters.
Daniele has been part of St Vincent’s Health Australia’s Executive and Senior Leadership Team for the past 13 years and relinquishes her current appointment as Chief Executive Officer, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane to take up the position of Executive Director Mater Health.
Daniele commenced her career as a Registered Nurse where she trained at Mater Misercordiae Hospital Brisbane; she holds a Bachelor of Science Nursing (University of New England), is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Harvard Executive Business School.
