Donna has more than 30 years’ experience as a Human Resource practitioner, manager, and executive level leader in national and international organisations in the fields of publishing, mining, information technology, hospitality and health.
As a leader, Donna is passionate about enabling people to grow to their full potential and contribute to creating a great working environment. With a focus on psychological safety, neuroscience and coaching, Donna and our Corporate Learning and Organisational Development team have implemented leadership programs that focus on building capabilities from self-leadership through to leading teams and achieving business outcomes.
In her role with Mater Education, Donna has implemented a focus on the power of workplace coaching, along with leadership programs that are underpinned by neuroscience of leadership principles. This positions and enables people to gain insight, change their thinking, engage, collaborate and increase their impact in the workplace.
Donna was appointed Executive Director, People and Culture in July 2022.
Donna holds a Diploma of Human Resource Management (Industrial Relations and Training) from Monash University; a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Communications and Development) from Southern Cross University; a Certificate in Coaching Skills, Advanced Coaching, Team Coaching and Mentoring; and, most recently, Donna completed an Advanced Diploma of Neuroleadership.
Donna is a member of the International Coach Federation, and a Fellow with the Institute of Managers and Leaders (Australia/New Zealand).
