Please email graduates@mater.org.au for the link to apply! Please note the Mater EN graduate program is only available for eligible Mater Education - Diploma of Education Students. 

Please allow at least 4 weeks after the closing date to receive an update on your application. 

Under no circumstances do we allow late submissions. 

Confirmed Graduate Recruitment Timeline for Feb 2023 in-take:

Applications open   Monday 18th July 2022
Applications close  Sunday 14th August 2022 by 11.55pm
Interviews Sept/Oct 2022
Offers & contracts Nov/Dec 2022
Commencement month  Feb 2023

FAQ's - Applications: 

When will I receive an update?

Throughout each application process the graduate’s team will reach out to you once we have an update. This may mean you won’t receive an update for a period of time up until the program commences in Feb. Please refrain from contacting the graduate’s team unless you do not receive any form of update after the start of the program.

Will I receive feedback?

Only those who attend an interview will be provided with feedback regarding their application. Due to the high volume of applications received and the bulk graduate process we run, no feedback is provided during any other application stage.

Can I apply for a grad program after the portal closes?

When the portal closes, under no circumstances do we accept late submissions so please be prepared and apply during the application window. 

Do not email your resume or cover letter to the graduate’s team, we do not accept emailed applications at any stage of the recruitment process. You must go through the application portal only.

Who should I contact for assistance with my application?

Mater's Graduate Programs for Enrolled Nurses is designed to assist graduates with the transition from study into nursing.  The programs allow Mater's graduates to work within a supportive learning environment to provide exceptional care to patients. 

We offer positions for newly qualified enrolled nurses working across Mater's hospitals at South Brisbane, Redland and Springfield. 

As a Graduate Enrolled Nurse at Mater you will be provided with all the tools you need to build a rewarding and enriching professional career. You will learn from the best and be a part of a world-class organisation.
