Mater Education is excited to announce the launch of three Communication and Engagement courses, aimed at developing confidence, communication and training to help you excel in your role.

The practical, evidence-based courses; Your Resilience RoadmapBuilding a Customer Service Mindset and High Value Conversationseach focus on a core set of skills to increase personal efficiency, improve consumer satisfaction, mitigate risk, and increase staff capability and engagement.

Each course has been developed and delivered by Mater’s very own internal learning and development educators, who train thousands of Mater staff every year. The educators bring a wealth of experience in coaching large organisations and implementing transformational cultural shift for the better.

Donna McGrane, Director of Corporate Learning and Organisational Development, has been heavily involved in the establishment of these courses both internally and now, externally for the first time.

“In a healthcare setting particularly, it is incredibly important that staff feel they can manage high-stress situations, provide excellent customer service and openly communicate with co-workers. We are so proud to now be able to offer these courses to the market, and help implement these skills to more individuals and workplaces.”

“Since their inception at Mater, we have seen a significant cultural shift, where staff feel empowered and confident. Each course teaches skills that not only apply to participants professionally, but personally too. We want to equip our participants with the right tools to communicate and engage effectively with those around them.”

At Mater Education, we are dedicated to supporting health and community care organisations by developing and delivering tailored education to help strengthen staff capability and satisfy knowledge gaps. Click here to explore our new courses and find how you or your workplace could benefit.
