Dr David Wong

Biography

Dr Wong obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University in Victoria in 2000. He completed his residency with the Southern Health Care Network that includes Monash Medical Centre and other affiliated metropolitan and regional hospitals. He then undertook his pathology registrar training with two years at Ballarat Base Hospital and three years at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.

Dr Wong obtained his fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia at the end of 2008. Since starting his career as a pathologist at Mater Pathology in 2009, David has covered a wide range of general pathology with increasing experience and developing interests in dermatopathology and attendance at neuropathology and lymphoma in-house multidiscplinary meetings.
