Specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Meghan Stafford joined Maiden Health, in March 2021. As a medical student, Dr Stafford completed an elective in Peru, and it is during this time that she discovered the magic of obstetrics, when she delivered her first baby!
Dr Stafford fell in love with the experience of helping a woman become a mum, and helping families grow. She feels honoured to be able to support women and families through the exciting, but often daunting, journey that is pregnancy and birth.
Dr Stafford’s best advice to new mums is to be open to the unexpected! As a mum to two young sons, Dr Stafford understands how hard this can be, which is why she loves to help families navigate this special time.
Through Maiden Health, Dr Stafford offers personal and holistic obstetric and gynaecological care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
