Biography

Dr Rajesh Mamadigi is a clinical haematologist with broad interest in malignant and general haematology. He is experienced in diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant haematologic diseases including myeloma, lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, blood cell and thrombotic disorders.

Dr Mamadigi graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India in 2004. He underwent postgraduate training in general medicine, clinical and laboratory haematology in the United Kingdom where he achieved membership of Royal College of Physicians, UK (MRCP), fellowship of Royal College of Pathologist, UK (FRCPATH) and certificate of completion of training, haematology UK. 

He worked as a consultant haematologist at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, UK from 2014, before moving to Australia in 2019 as full-time staff specialist haematologist at Rockhampton Base Hospital.

He takes pride in providing holistic medical care encompassing current best practice and tailoring it to suit individual patient’s needs and wishes.
