Mike is the Chief Medical Officer for Mater. He has worked at Mater since 2005, commencing as a staff specialist and quickly progressing into key leadership roles, more recently as Chief Digital Health Officer, General Manager Mater Mothers Hospitals Brisbane, and Director of Medical Services for Mothers Babies and Women’s Health Services state-wide.
Mike is an obstetrician and gynaecologist, health informatician, and experienced health services researcher, He has led many innovations in healthcare delivery to improve safety and the quality of care, improve efficiency, enhance patient experience as well as improve the work-life of staff.
He brings significant experience and knowledge to this pivotal leadership role.
