Mater has been negotiating with relevant unions and employee bargaining representatives for a new enterprise agreement (the Mater Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2025). The negotiations are now complete, you will now receive a copy of the proposed enterprise agreement, associated information and vote in a ballot on the proposed enterprise agreement.

Access period: Monday 27 October - Sunday 2 November 2025 (inclusive)
Ballot: Monday 3 - Sunday 7 November at 5pm
Access Period
The Fair Work Act 2009 (s180) provides that before employees vote on the proposed agreement, an access period is required to provide information to those employees covered by the proposed agreement.
During the access period, Mater will:
- provide you with a copy, or enable you to access a copy, of the proposed enterprise agreement.
- provide you with a copy, or enable you to access a copy, of any material that is incorporated into the proposed enterprise agreement e.g., policies; and
- explain the terms of the proposed enterprise agreement and the effect of those terms.
Ballot
Voting for the Mater Medical Officers' Enterprise Agreement will be available online or by phone Monday 3 - Friday 7 November, closing strictly at 5pm.
Mater has engaged the services of CorpVote, an external company that specialises in holding secure and confidential voting processes.
CorpVote will:
- Email eligible staff on Tuesday 28 October to introduce themselves and provide further details about the voting process; and
- Send an email and SMS when voting opens, including your Voter Access Code, which you’ll need to cast your vote.
