Mater Private Hospital Townsville’s Hyde Park Campus opened alongside Mater Mothers’ Private Townsville in 2007, with adjoining medical suites, Lister House, opened in 2009. Established to support the growing healthcare needs of North Queensland, the Hyde Park campus is home to Mater’s dedicated Renal Unit, with eight dialysis chairs completing several lists daily. Mater’s Hyde Park Day Surgery also features three operating theatres and specialises in oral and maxillofacial surgery, gynaecology and pain medicine.
Our Hyde Park clinicians work in close consultation with their colleagues at the Pimlico campus to offer all patients access to Mater Private Hospital Townsville’s full suite of services.

Getting here/parking
Mater’s Hyde Park campus offers free off-street parking on Oxford Street. The Day Surgery entrance faces the car park, while the Renal Unit can be accessed by following signage to the left of the building.

Visiting hours
Visiting hours are 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week. Rest period for patients is encouraged between 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm daily.
