We're proud to have world-class medical professionals leading our clinical teams in facilities across Queensland; delivering, diagnosing, treating, operating, and collaborating with us to ensure the best patient outcomes every time.

Supported by innovative technologies from surgical-assist robots in operation at all Mater facilities to virtual care programs supporting clinicians to educate patients and supporting patients to return home sooner and safer, our specialists have access to the latest in knowledge and equipment.

We are proud to offer access to medical consulting suites on site in addition to access to Mater's renowned medical community engagement professionals - supporting your referrals from local general practitioners.

With direct education pathways for nursing staff from Mater Education and our state's leading universities, you will be supported by respected and highly trained clinical teams to provide each patient with personalised and high-quality care.

Mater specialists have the privilege of enjoying:

  • Access to on-site imaging and pathology.
  • Highly qualified clinical and non-clinical support staff.
  • Access to virtual practice managers.
  • Access to Mater Research.

As a leading Health service organisation, Mater is committed to appointing health practitioners who are suitably experienced, trained and qualified to practise in a competent and ethical manner as our partners in clinical excellence.

To achieve this, we have a system in place to confirm a health practitioner’s credentials and accredit their scope of practice – credentialing.

As partners in the delivery of our Mission, our Credentialed Practitioners are expected to deliver high-quality, low-variability, evidence-based care for all patients each and every time.
