Located on the newly refurbished eighth floor, Mater Private Hospital Brisbane’s Premium Suites redefine the hospital experience with a blend of clinical excellence and hotel-style luxury. Each of the seven suites offers thoughtful comforts such as interconnecting private family lounges, plush recliner chairs, and in-room hair-washing facilities—designed to support both patient wellbeing and family connection.
At the heart of the floor is the expansive 78sqm Principal Suite, a sanctuary featuring its own private balcony, patient bedroom, lounge, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. It also includes a dedicated station for personal nurses and carers, ensuring seamless, attentive support throughout the stay.
Patients can enjoy restaurant-quality meals curated by chef Luke Mangan and delivered directly to their bedside—whenever they choose—from the room service menu.
While every Mater patient receives world-class clinical care, the Premium and Principal Suites offer an elevated environment: spacious, serene, and purposefully designed to promote healing, comfort, and dignity for patients and their loved ones.

Cost of stay
The Principal Suite starts at $2,500 per night, with optional extras such as dedicated one-to-one nursing care and adjoining rooms for carers or loved ones available at an additional cost.
