A highly respected healthcare leader, Anna Olson was appointed Acting General Manager of Mater Private Hospital Townsville during Stephanie Barwick's maternity leave.
Ms Olson has extensive experience in senior hospital leadership and health system management, with a strong background across strategy, operations and clinical support services. She has held senior executive roles within both the private health sector and the Mater network, most recently as General Manager, Mater Pathology.
Ms Olson has a deep understanding of regional healthcare delivery and is passionate about improving access to high‑quality, patient‑centred care for North Queensland communities.
