Biography
Dr Horak has a clinical interest in medical and surgical vitreoretinal disease, with particular interest in the management of diabetes, macular disease including macular degeneration and vitreoretinal surgical problems. He provides a comprehensive service in his field of speciality for the Central Queensland region, including Rockhampton.
Dr Horak graduated medicine in 1988 and completed his ophthalmology training in South Africa and the United Kingdom during before undertaking subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery in 1998.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. He was also awarded a Masters degree in ophthalmology during 1997.
