Dr David Moore works under the continuity of care model in his practice, Eve Health, and emphasises availability and individualised care. As no two pregnancies are the same, he places great importance on tailoring pregnancy and delivery care to align with each of his patients’ wishes, values and beliefs.

Dr Moore believes in supporting women so that they are informed participants in the decision-making surrounding their birth options, and he aims to help his patients achieve a safe and fulfilling birth experience. He encourages all of his patients to attend antenatal education classes and to have open conversations with him about their birthing preferences so that they feel informed, supported and listened to throughout their pregnancy journey.

His best advice for parents-to-be is to stay away from Google - it only causes concern, rather than alleviates it. Instead, raise any concerns - no matter how trivial they may seem - with your doctor or midwife, and if you don’t feel listened to and supported, change care providers.
