Andrew Thomas
Chief Executive, Mater Foundation Group Leadership team
Mr Thomas was appointed Mater Foundation Chief Executive in June 2020.
He has an established background in fundraising and philanthropic leadership in Queensland, having served in significant non-profit organisations including Children’s Hospital Foundation, Endeavour Foundation and Surf Life Saving Foundation.
Mr Thomas also has experience in trustee services and funds management in the philanthropic sector, and a deep understanding of organisations across a diverse range of specialties.
He also has experience in Board and executive level stakeholder relationships, large-scale lottery operations, and understands the importance of connecting with community to drive an organisation’s relevance and impact.
Andrew is also a non-executive director of Coact and Loreto College.
