Christian Gordon

Mr Gordon was appointed to Mater in 2019 to lead the strategic communications and engagement for the organisation’s restructure and merge to a single, statewide entity.
Prior to joining Mater, Mr Gordon owned a private consultancy firm that provided strategic marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement advice to organisations across the private, government and not-for-profit sectors.
Mr Gordon has extensive experience in driving growth and market share through effective advocacy and engagement and the innovative application of brand, media, marketing, communications and digital content strategies.
He is passionate about giving back to community and has served as a board member for the Bishop Michael Putney Fellowship, the Catholic Diocese of Townsville Education Council and Townsville Fire.
