Dr Lisa Caffery

Dr Lisa Caffery was appointed to the Mater Misericordiae Ltd Board in December 2024 and is a member of the Mission Integration, People and Culture Committee and of the Strategic Development and Sustainable Infrastructure Committee.
Dr Caffery is a respected non-executive director and business leader with over 20 years of professional experience in regional Queensland. She is the founder and principal of an Environment Social Governance (ESG) company advising multinational clients, ASX-listed organisations, government entities and private companies across a range of industries.
Dr Caffery brings extensive governance experience across regulated, asset-intensive sectors including health, utilities, infrastructure, and resources. She is a Board Member of Dams Safety NSW, Central Highlands Science Centre Inc. and Central Highlands Community Services Ltd. Until recently, she was the Non-executive Chair of Sunwater Limited and the Deputy Chair of the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service Board.
Dr Caffery was awarded her PhD from Central Queensland University, focusing on rural health equity and social impact. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Cambridge University's Sustainability Leadership Institute.
