Karen Wade
General Manager, Mater Private Hospital Mackay Health Leadership
With more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, Ms Wade was appointed as the General Manager, Mater Private Hospital Mackay in 2024.
Having started her career with Mater in 1980 as a nursing graduate, Ms Wade brings a wealth of experience from a range of private and public roles including Executive Director of Nursing, Director of Safety and Quality and Director of Clinical and Care Services.
Ms Wade is passionate about ensuring contemporary care and services are available to the people of Mackay, especially robotic-assisted surgeries.
