With extensive experience as a company secretary and corporate lawyer, Ms Laakso has been a driving force in company secretariat, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management across diverse organisations. Her portfolio includes ASX-listed companies, not-for-profit organisations, private entities and government.
Ms Laakso holds a Juris Doctor (First Class Honours), a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, an MBA specialising in Corporate Governance and a Bachelor of Business, further strengthened by her leadership presence as a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA).
