Steven Rubic

Mr Steven Rubic was appointed to the Mater Misericordiae Ltd Board in November 2023 and is Chair of the Mission Integration, People and Culture Committee and a member of the Finance, Risk, Audit and Compliance Committee.
Mr Rubic is an experienced Non-Executive Director and an accomplished health care executive, having over 30 years of executive leadership including CEO roles at Healthscope hospital group, I-MED Radiology Network and the St Vincent’s & Mater Health Group in Sydney. Mr Rubic is currently a Non-executive Director of ASX-listed Pacific Smiles Dental Group, TPG private equity owned InvoCare and Catholic Healthcare Limited governing its retirement living and residential aged care business.
Mr Rubic has held positions on a number of boards, including the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, Macquarie University, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and Health Industry Superannuation. He also chaired Monte Sant'Angelo Mercy College and the NSW Private Hospitals' Industry Association.
Mr Rubic is a former Mercy Partners Trustee. Mr Rubic holds a Bachelor of Health Administration from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. Mr Rubic is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australasian College of Health Service Management.
