Mater Hospital Springfield
Addressing unmet health needs is central to Mater’s Mission and was the driving force behind Mater’s decision to build the first hospital in the master-planned community of Springfield in 2015.
Mater Hospital Springfield, delivered in partnership with the Queensland Government, will be the first public hospital in Greater Springfield. This project will meet the current and future health needs of the rapidly growing western corridor and provides the community with an Emergency Department, Mater Mothers' and paediatric ward closer to home.

Mater has embarked on an exciting new project that will enhance patient experience, expand theatre and procedural capacity, and drive growth at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
The Priority Pathways Plan was developed in consultation with Mater People, Visiting Medical Officers and other key stakeholders at the South Brisbane campus.
Mater Private Hospital Townsville maternity and renal unit relocation
Mater Private Hospital Townsville is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to every North Queenslander, with maternity and renal services set to be delivered from Mater's Pimlico campus again by early 2026.
Ground has broken on the relocation, which will provide patients and specialists with direct access to 12 operating theatres, Intensive Care Unit and all other services

The Mater Hill Master Plan offers a holistic, planned approach of the site, considering the best use of Mater's landholdings, and presents a range of proposed sustainable development opportunities in the areas of health and healthcare, residential care and education.
