Mater is home to Australia's largest maternity service with more than 12, 000 babies born at Mater hospitals every year. From pre-pregnancy to each baby’s three-month milestone, Mater provides integrated, comprehensive care to Queensland families. Mater's Maternal Fetal Medicine is Australia’s leading specialty service for treating and managing some of the country’s most complex and high-risk pregnancies has successfully performed Australian-first in-utero surgeries.
