Join our team of medical professionals in South East Queensland

Medical recruitment for Junior Medical Staff (Interns, JHOs, SHOs, PHOs, Registrars, Advanced Trainees and Fellows) is mostly done via the Queensland Health Intern and RMO Campaigns. These campaigns are held each year (commencing in May/June) and include all Queensland Health hospitals, Mater hospitals in South East Queensland and Greenslopes Private Hospital.

If you would like to enquire about a junior medical officer position outside of the campaign please review our Medical Careers Website for current vacancies or contact the Medical Education Unit at mededu@mater.org.au

Mater Health is committed to providing personal and professional development opportunities for all of our team members. The aim of medical training and education at Mater Health is to provide junior medical offers with the skills and knowledge required to assist them in becoming exceptional Medical Practitioners in the field they choose.
