When will I receive an update?
Throughout each application process the graduate’s team will reach out to you once we have an update. This may mean you won’t receive an update for a period of time up until August 2022. Please refrain from contacting the graduate’s team unless you do not receive any form of update after the end of August 2022.
Will I receive feedback?
Only those who attend an interview will be provided with feedback regarding their application. Due to the high volume of applications received and the bulk graduate process we run, no feedback is provided during any other application stage.
Can I apply for a grad program after the portal closes?
When the portal closes, under no circumstances do we accept late submissions so please be prepared and apply during the application window.
Do not email your resume or cover letter to the graduate’s team, we do not accept emailed applications at any stage of the recruitment process. You must go through the application portal only.

Is there a Midwifery Graduate in-take for mid-year?
No, we do not have a mid-year in-take for Registered Midwife - Graduates.
Update: Unfortunately we will not be running a graduate campaign for Dual Degree (Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife) positions this in-take, the next application date for midwifery/Dual Degree positions will be in Aug/Sept 2022.
Will there be Registered Nursing positions in Mater Children's Hospital or NCCU?

Mater's Graduate Programs for Registered Nurses and Midwives are designed to assist graduates with the transition from study into nursing. The programs allow Mater's graduates to work within a supportive learning environment to provide exceptional care to patients.
We offer a range of programs for newly qualified nurses and midwives working across Mater's hospitals at South Brisbane, Redland and Springfield.
Our programs offer the opportunity for you to learn on the job in a hospital as you transition from academic learning to professional practice. Each of our programs run for 12 months and cater for those who have already identified their nursing speciality and those who are wanting more experience in a range of clinical areas before deciding on a speciality.
