Allied Health Services

Neck and back pain, joint problems, muscle strains and sprains, repetitive strain injuries, postural problems, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis management, balance and mobility issues, rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery.

Management of urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence, pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pessary fittings, menopausal concerns, and persistent pelvic pain.

Treating concerns arising postnatally, including pelvic floor and abdominal wall assessment and recovery, musculoskeletal concerns (back and wrist pain), return to sport and exercise, and therapeutic ultrasound for blocked ducts and mastitis.

Holistic, personalised dietetic care for a variety of conditions, including chronic condition management, weight management, eating disorders, nutrition optimisation, allergies and intolerances, antenatal and postnatal support.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Offered face-to-face and virtually, programs run for six weeks, monitoring responses to exercise and activity and include clinical assessments, lifestyle education and/or exercise sessions.

Communication support, speech and language rehabilitation, cognitive-communication therapy and safe and enjoyable eating and drinking, including dysphagia management.

Counselling to assist with a range of health and relationship concerns, difficult life transitions or mental health issues.

Post acute injury, neurological rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, management of chronic disease and post angiogram care.

Day Rehabilitation Programs

Amputee, neurological, orthopaedic and reconditioning programs are led by a rehabilitation doctor and delivered by a team of multidisciplinary rehabilitation specialists.

An eight-week program, led by a specialist doctor and rehabilitation team, consisting of Individualised education sessions and exercise practice to support the management of chronic pain.

Supporting for overall wellbeing, providing assistance through social and interpersonal difficulties and advocating for needs.

Funding and referrals 

Inpatient rehabilitation and day rehabilitation services: a referral from a specialist or a GP is required.

Cardiac rehabilitation services: a referral from a specialist or a GP is required. Services are provided to insured and non-insured/self-funded patients. Please contact us for further information. 

Outpatient services: self-referrals and/or doctor's letters are accepted for physiotherapy (general and women's health physiotherapy), occupational therapy, dietetics, speech pathology and exercise physiology. HICAPS, DVA and chronic management plans (Medicare) are accepted. Please contact us for further information about service costs.  

Please note, allied health referrals are prioritised based on clinical need and patient safety.  On occasion, this may mean that we need to use a wait list for some services. You and your GP will be notified of any waiting periods at the time of referral.
