I have an appointment booked

What is a Specialist Outpatient appointment?

Your outpatient specialist appointment is to see a member of the specialist clinical team about your condition, without being admitted into hospital.

  • You may have an outpatient specialist appointment before and/or after an admission to hospital (if an admission is required).

Who will my appointment be with?

Your appointment will be with a clinical specialist, which could be a medical officer, nurse or allied health professional. Our specialist clinics are made up of multi-disciplinary teams who work together to deliver the best possible healthcare to our patients.

  • You may also have an x-ray or other tests during your appointment.
