Biography
Associate Professor Anand Ramineni was the Gold Coast’s first private neonatologist, a specialist paediatrician who cares solely for babies. After initial paediatric training, Anand completed three years of advanced training in neonatology. He has cared for babies as small as 300 grams and as early as 22 weeks at Mater Mothers’ NCCU, Gold Coast University NICU, and the statewide retrieval service at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Dr Ramineni has spent years exclusively caring for newborns across intensive care, retrieval and clinic settings. He brings this depth of experience to every baby he sees–whether they are premature, unwell, or simply need some extra support. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Bond University, with postgraduate training in public health, health leadership and health management.
With a positive and gentle approach, Dr Ramineni takes the time to ensure families feel informed and supported–especially when things don’t go to plan. No matter how big or small the concern, he understands how precious every baby is to their family.
Dr Ramineni combines advanced clinical expertise in newborn care with extensive experience in clinical education and health management. His work spans the bedside and the classroom, as well as health system design and leadership.
