Biography
A/Prof Shaker is a specialist in obstetrics, gynaecology with extensive experience in urogynaecology with more than 25 years’ experience in the speciality in addition to his training, studies and fellowship in surgery.
His current practice is dedicated to offering the highest standard of care in all aspects of women’s health and maternity. He completed postgraduate studies and training in the UK.
A/Prof Shaker clinical interest lies in women’s health with emphasis on pelvic floor and female lower urinary tract disorders, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. His work is regularly presented in international conferences and published in different high impact medical journals. He is also an Associate Professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Queensland.
