Dr Adam Parr is a Queensland-based Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who treats both adults and children. He practises privately at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane and Mater Children's Private Brisbane, where he provides expert care for a wide range of spinal conditions.

Dr Parr completed his advanced orthopaedic training in Brisbane and North Queensland, followed by a subspecialist spinal fellowship under renowned spine surgeon Dr Geoff Askin. This 12-month fellowship focused on complex spinal deformities in children and adults, including scoliosis, degenerative disease, disc pathology, trauma and tumours.

In addition to his private practice at Mater, Dr Parr holds public appointments at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. He is the Clinical Lead of Spinal Surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital, contributing to both surgical excellence and clinical leadership.

Dr Parr is actively involved in spinal research through the Biomechanics and Spine Research Group in Brisbane. He has published in several peer-reviewed journals and is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland, helping to train the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.

A certified independent medical examiner and Australian Army reservist, Dr Parr brings a broad perspective to spinal care, including experience in military medicine and medico-legal assessments.
