Dr Adrian Westcott

General surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, melanoma surgery, thyroid surgery including parathyroidectomy, breast surgery for breast cancer and breast related issues, gallbladder Surgery

Dr Westcott is an experienced General Surgeon with a clinical interest in breast and endocrine surgery with more than 22 years’ experience in the surgical field.

Dr Westcott performs general surgery as well as breast surgery for breast cancer and breast related issues. He also performs endocrine surgery for thyroid conditions, including parathyroidectomy.

Born and raised in Sarina, Dr Westcott undertook his medical training at the University of Queensland. He worked at several hospitals in Brisbane hospitals and at Townsville Hospital during his training. After completing his training he returned to Mackay to work at Mackay Base Hospital.

In 2009 Dr Westcott joined Dr Vigna-Rajah’s practice and is now a Practice Principal at Mackay Surgical Group. Dr Westcott is available on Thursday at Mater Private Hospital Mackay for surgery and consultations.
