Dr Alison Sprague

Dr Alison Sprague is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat and Head and Neck Surgeon who was raised on the Gold Coast. She completed her medical degree at University of Queensland in 1992 followed by Advanced Training in ENT Surgery (Fellowship Australasian College of Surgeons) in 2001. She has worked in both private and public practice on the Gold Coast from July 2002 till the present day.

She provides in-depth consultations (30 minute New Patients: 15 minute Reviews – longer if needed), carefully planned surgery and diligent follow-up post surgery.

Dr Sprague has attended extra training in sinus surgery and sialendoscopy (salivary gland duct endoscopy) in both Australia and Germany/Austria. 

She has a very child friendly practice, but enjoys a broad aspect of both adult and paediatric practice.

Dr Sprague is the Chairman of ASOHNS Queensland (Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery). She operates at Pindara Private Hospital, Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast and Gold Coast University Hospital. She also does regular ENT outreach surgery in remote Queensland communities. She is also active in supervising Advanced ENT Trainees at Gold Coast University Hospital.
