Dr Anton Ghiculescu

General physician and clinical pharmacologist with special interests in acute and perioperative medicine

Dr Anton Ghiculescu is a consultant general physician and clinical pharmacologist.

In his final years of training Anton worked in internal medicine and clinical pharmacology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

As a general physician Anton can assist in the management of acute and chronic medical conditions and has a particular interest in perioperative medicine.

Anton believes that optimised perioperative care is likely to correlate with improved medical and surgical outcomes.

As a clinical pharmacologist, Anton has a particular interest in the quality use of medicines including drug safety, drug interactions, adverse drug reactions and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Dr Ghiculescu consults at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at Park View Specialist Centre, Capalaba on Wednesdays.
