Biography

Dr Anuradha Siriwardana is multi-disciplinary physician, trained in respiratory, sleep and general medicine.

Dr Siriwardana completed his basic physician training and internal medicine training in Gold Coast University Hospital and Health Service. He continued his advanced training in respiratory and sleep medicine in New South Wales mainly at St. George Hospital in Sydney. He then completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Centre for Sleep Disorders at St George Hospital in Sydney. He is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Sleep Medicine and Neuroscience with the University of Oxford.

Dr Siriwardana holds various teaching positions with Bond, Griffith and Wollongong universities and is closely involved with medical training and medical research. He holds professional memberships with Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (IMSANZ) Lung Foundation – Australia, American Thoracic Society (ATS), British Thoracic Society (BTS) and World Sleep Society. He regularly attends national and international conferences and workshops to keep abreast of the up-to-date knowledge in respiratory and sleep medicine.
