Biography
Dr Ben Lancashire is an experienced and highly accomplished breast and endocrine surgeon at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
Dr Lancashire holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from The University of Queensland and completed his Master of Advanced Breast Surgery at The University of Sydney.
He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr Lancashire has a special interest in benign and malignant breast disorders, risk reduction strategies for patients at high risk of developing breast cancer, and surgical disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid glands.
He also maintains an interest in managing all aspects of acute and elective general surgical conditions including gallstone disease, hernias and acute abdominal conditions.
