Dr Cameron Cooke

Direct anterior hip replacement; primary and revision hip and knee replacement; Reconstructive surgery; Arthroscopic knee surgery; Acute lower limb trauma; Geriatric hip fracture surgery; Late trauma reconstructive surgery; Medicolegal assessment.

Dr Cooke’s main areas of interest are primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery, arthroscopic knee surgery and orthopaedic trauma of the lower limb.

He completed his specialist training in Brisbane prior to spending two years away doing further advanced training. This time included working with Dr Bill Walter in Sydney completing a hip and knee reconstruction fellowship in arthroplasty. Dr Cooke also gained further experience in the area of primary and revision hip surgery when working in Sheffield in the UK. A further year was spent in his other area of interest, orthopaedic trauma, at the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver General Hospital in Canada.

He is now consulting at Mater Private Clinic.
