Biography

Dr Daniel Bopf is a Queensland-trained orthopaedic surgeon, with an interest in hip and knee arthroplasty (replacements due to arthritis), sports knee injuries, and select upper limb conditions. He also performs a wide range of general and trauma orthopaedic procedures.

After completing his orthopaedic training, Dr Bopf completed the Belfast Arthroplasty Research Trust Fellowship in Northern Ireland, gaining world-leading experience in the areas of hip and knee arthroplasty.  He currently holds the position of Director of Orthopaedics at Ipswich General Hospital. Dr Bopf has published several peer reviewed journal articles and is an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland.

Dr Bopf’s surgical skill is complemented by his high-quality patient care.  This includes clearly explaining patient options and procedures, keeping family informed and exceptional post-operative care.

Dr Bopf conducts private practice at Mater Private Hospital Springfield.
