Biography
Dr Edward Sia is part of the collaborative team at Mater Cancer Care Centre, Springfield, committed to supporting every patient on their cancer journey. He believes in a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care, with his warm and approachable manner supporting meaningful relationships with his patients and their loved ones.
Dr Sia completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2005 at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, before completing specialist radiation oncology training in regional New South Wales and New Zealand. Locally, Dr Sia completed additional radiation oncology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2018.
His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with a special interest in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer and head and neck cancer.
He is committed to supporting patients at every stage of their cancer journey at Mater Private Hospital Springfield.
