Biography
Dr Ellie van der List is a general gastroenterologist and hepatologist consulting and operating at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane.
Dr van der List graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Sydney before returning home to Brisbane where she completed her physician training.
She undertook advanced training in gastroenterology at Logan Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and a post-fellowship year at the Princess Alexandra Hospital subspecialising in hepatology.
In addition to general gastroenterology, endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr van der List has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of liver disease, including autoimmune liver disease, fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis.
Dr van der List consults privately with Bridges Health and holds public appointments at Mater Hospital Brisbane and the Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS). She is a lecturer at The University of Queensland.
