Dr Emily Horsley

Dr Emily Horsley has recently moved back to Brisbane and now works as a specialist paediatrician at Mater Health and Queensland Children's Hospital. Dr Horsley completed medical training at the University of Queensland (2005) before specialist training in paediatrics through the Sydney Children’s Hospital (2012). She has an extensive educational background including a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She has continued her education through research, centred around paediatric disease as well as Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. 

Dr Horsley has had broad training and experience in the management of a wide range of neonatal and paediatric acute, developmental and chronic illnesses. She enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary partnership with families, general practitioners, allied health professionals and educators to help children reach their full potential. 

Emily is a Paedicare Paediatrician who provides newborn services at Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane and specialist private paediatric services from the Salmon Building on the Mater South Brisbane campus.
