Colon, rectal and anal cancer, colonic polyps, surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, anorectal conditions including haemorrhoids, fissures, abscesses and fistulas, pilonidal sinus, rectal prolapse, faecal incontinence, benign and malignant conditions of the small bowel, acute cholecystitis and gallstones, appendicitis, abdominal wall hernias, bowel obstructions, Crohn’s Disease.

Biography

Dr Greg Nolan is a Specialist General and Colorectal Surgeon. Studying biomedical science at the University of Technology, Sydney, he graduated with first class honours conducting research in electrophysiology and was placed on the Dean’s merit list for academic excellence. Whilst working as a scientific officer for a pathology company, he completed a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle and graduated with honours.

Dr Nolan completed the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons general surgery training program in the Hunter New England health district. He was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and subsequently completed a general surgery fellowship at Gosford Hospital. Greg completed his training in colorectal surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and the Gold Coast University Hospital and was admitted as a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand.
